In all stages of Haj Qasem’s battle, defending the sanctuaries was one of his tenets. He deemed it his duty to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is a great sanctuary for the Islamic world. That’s why Martyr Haniyeh called him the “Martyr of Quds”.
