The military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Thursday the death of a prominent commander from the military wing of Hamas.

In a statement released on Thursday, the military spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed the death of Muhammad Al-Deif, the leader of Hamas’s military wing, along with several other commanders amid ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza.

In a statement, Abu Ubaida confirmed that the announcement followed the completion of all essential procedures, addressing security alerts dictated by battle and field dynamics, executing thorough verification processes, and implementing all pertinent measures.

Abu Ubaida has announced the names of the Al-Qassam Brigade commanders who were killed during the conflict.

Commander Muhammad Al-Deif, known as Abu Khaled, serves as the Chief of Staff for the Al-Qassam Brigades.

– Marwan Issa, also known as Abu Al-Baraa, serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Al-Qassam Brigades.

Ghazi Abu Tama’a, also known as Abu Musa, holds the position of Commander within the Weapons and Combat Services Section.

Raed Thabet, known as Abu Muhammad, holds the position of Commander in the Human Resources Section.

— Rafe’ Salama, also known as Abu Muhammad, who serves as the commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade.

Ahmed Al-Ghandour, widely known as Abu Anas, serves as the commander of the Northern Brigade.

Ayman Nofal, also known as Abu Ahmed, who served as the commander of the Central Brigade, has been identified.
