Interior Minister meets a number of injured soldiers in Lattakia
Minister of Interior Let. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar visited on Friday a number of army and law-enforcement injured personnel in al-Assad, Zahi Azraq, and the National hospitals.
Minister al-Shaar, accompanied by Lattakia Governor Ahmad Sheikh Abdul-Qader, inspected the situation of the personnel, who were injured while repelling the terrorists who are supported by Turkish Prime Minister’s government in Lattakia northern countryside, particularly in Kassab.
He stressed that injured personnel have all the appreciation of the leadership, highlighting the leadership’s readiness to provide all medical aid as to fasten their recovery.
For his part, Governor Abdul-Qader said that the governorate has provided all needed facilitations, particularly in the medical field, since the beginning of the Turksih government’s aggression on Kassab.
In turn, the injured personnel expressed their appreciation for the visit, which stresses the keenness of the leadership on inspecting their situation, highlighting that their injuries will not dissuade them from returning to the battle field as soon as they are healed.
In a related context, Minister al-Shaar met with a number of senior police officials in the province, hailing the importance of law-enforcement members in facing terrorism.
He said that Syria is facing a fierce aggression that requires a high sense of responsibility and extraordinary measures that would promote the quality of the work on all levels.
He also stressed the need to consolidate the role of law-enforcement as to be integrated with the role of the army in defense of the homeland .
