Iran FM announced that the operation titled “True Promise III,” aimed against Israel, be executed at an appropriate time and manner

Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic retains the right to respond to recent hostilities attributed to Israel. Araghchi stated that Tehran will determine the timing of any retaliatory measures, underscoring Iran's stance on defending its sovereignty in the face of perceived aggression from the Israeli state.

On Tuesday, during a conference held at the Command Headquarters of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in Tehran, he delivered remarks to the assembly of commanders and personnel.

In response to inquiries from IRGC commanders regarding the timing of Operation True Promise III following recent Israeli airstrikes on various Iranian military sites, Araghchi indicated that the Foreign Ministry has officially described these attacks as a fresh act of aggression.

Iran’s chief diplomat has emphasized the country’s intent to respond to Israel’s aerial attack. He stated, “We have not abandoned our right to retaliate against Israel and will do so at a time and in a way we find suitable.”

Araghchi emphasized that the Iranian Foreign Ministry refrains from making impulsive decisions, highlighting that Iran has already issued a carefully calculated response. This response takes into account the broader context, potential scenarios, and conspiracies that could be directed against the nation, with the aim of averting the escalation of conflict.

In remarks to the commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Araghchi emphasized the necessity of delivering a firm response, asserting that it is imperative to disabuse adversaries of any notion that they can strike Iran without facing repercussions.

Araghchi emphasized the importance of explicitly asserting military strength and exhibiting preparedness for conflict in order to prevent the outbreak of war.

He stated that the key deterrent to war is a nation’s preparedness for conflict. He emphasized that displaying any hint of fear in the face of potential hostilities effectively invites war upon oneself.

Araqchi emphasized that political deterrence relies on a collective agreement among both regional and international countries to address hostile actions, asserting that such unity would effectively establish a defensive barrier.

He emphasized that political deterrence, when combined with military readiness, can establish a strong foundation of support and unity. This approach is seen as a means to amplify opposition against the Zionist regime and significantly aid in preventing the escalation of conflicts.

In a significant early morning operation on October 26, Israeli warplanes launched a series of strikes targeting military installations across Iran’s Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces, utilizing US-controlled airspace over Iraq. This action constitutes a marked violation of Iranian national sovereignty.

Iran reported that its air defense system successfully intercepted and countered the strike, which resulted in limited damage to radar installations. The attack claimed the lives of five individuals, comprising four Army officers and one civilian.
