Iran, Iraq discuss bilateral defense relations
Iranian deputy defense minister in a meeting with Iraqi defense minsiter called for strengthening bilateral relations in defensive affairs.
The Iranian Deputy Defense Minister Ghasem Taghizadeh met the Iraqi Minister of Defense Erfan al-Hiyali in Baghdad on Tuesday.
The two officials emphasized on strengthening the defensive relations between the two countries.
According to the statement issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, Taghizadeh congratulated the Iraqi people and government on the recent victories in fighting against the terrorist group Daesh.
