Iran ready to thwart US anti-Iran measures: Speaker
Iranian parliament speaker said on Friday that Islamic Republic is quite ready to thwart the US’s anti-Iran measures.
Today, the country is quite ready for countering the US’ wrong behavior, Ali Larijani said in a reference to the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal.
Seven items out of the 12 US conditions for Iran are related to the regional issues; this shows that the US problem with Iran is not related to the nuclear issue, the speaker added.
US President Donald Trump announced on May 8 that Washington would pull out of Iran nuclear deal and reinstate nuclear sanctions on Tehran.
This is while most world powers, including Russia, China, and the European Union, have repeatedly stressed that keeping the deal is in the interest of the world peace and security.
