Iranians rally for Int’l Quds Day, echoing near victory in Palestine
On International al-Quds Day, millions have taken to the streets in support of Palestine, including senior Iranian and Palestinian officials, amid calls for a free Palestine.
International al-Quds Day marches were launched in Iran on the last Friday of the month of Ramadan, coinciding with the arrival of the bodies of the martyrs of the Israeli aggression against the country’s consulate in Damascus.
People took to the streets in a show of solidarity with Gaza and to condemn “Israel’s” crimes in Palestine.
According to General Ramadan Sharif, the spokesperson of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), pro-Palestine rallies will be held in more than 2,000 locations across the country.
