Iran’s foreign minister meets Syria’s Assad in Damascus on 2nd leg of regional tour

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has met with President Bashar al-Assad of Syria in the capital Damascus as part of the second leg of a regional tour after visiting Lebanon.

The meeting took place after Amir-Abdollahian, at the head of a political delegation, arrived in the Syrian capital earlier on Sunday.
