Iran’s Rezaei: Saudi-US sword dance aimed at throwing Iran into new fray
Former IRGC general Rezaei said Riyadh sword dance and Trump’s generous financial offering to Saudi regime aimed at throwing Iran into a new fray.
Former IRGC general and current secretary of the Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei also added that the eight-year war of Iraq’s Saddam Hussein against Iran had been launched under Al Saud provocation.
Rezaei referred to talks exchanged at Oslo Forum on Tuesday with Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif in attendance, adding “former US Secretary of State John Kerry admitted at the forum that leaders of certain regional countries had suggested that Obama order airstrikes on Iran, that bombing the country was the only way to solve Iran’s nuclear case. This is not the first time Saudis have tried to provoke other countries against Iran.”
“Al Saud has been showing enmity and spite against the Iranian nation for forty years and each time, they had failed in their attempts,” he added.
Rezaei further warned Saudi Arabia that their next provocation against Iran will be faced with harsh retaliation.
