Iraqi Army eliminates entire ISIS sleeper cell

The Iraqi Armed Forces continued their terrorist cleansing campaign this week, targeting several areas that are believed to have an Islamic State (ISIS) presence.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the Iraqi Army discovered an Islamic State sleeper cell, yesterday, after combing through the Rawa area.

The Ministry of Defense said that the Islamic State sleeper cell was discovered by the Iraqi Army  inside a cave in the northern countryside of the Rawa area.

Once they entered the cave, the Iraqi Army faced resistance from the Islamic State terrorists hiding inside of it.

Following a short battle, the Iraqi Army was able to secure the cave after eliminating all ten Islamic State members and seizing their weapons.

The Iraqi Army also destroyed one pick-up truck and one motorcycle used by the terrorist group.
