Iraq’s Hashd Shaabi Liberates Strategic Crossing on the Border with Syria
Iraqi volunteer forces engaged in massive operation against ISIL Takfiri forces west of Mosul liberated a strategic crossing on the border with Syria.
Popular Mobilization forces- also known as Hashd Shaabi, announced late on Wednesday the liberation of Tal Safouk crossing, which is located at one of the most important ISIL supply lines between Syria and Iraq.
Earlier on Tuesday, the PMF liberated the villages of Marzouka, Tal Ghazal, Bouthat al-Madfa’, Joughaifi, west of the Al-Baaj area which was also liberated last Sunday.
This progress is part of the second phase of a wide-scale operation dubbed “Muhammed Rasulullah” to take remaining areas from Takfiri terrorists in northern Iraq.
