IRGC Condemns Israeli Attacks on Syria’s Infrastructure
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Syria’s infrastructure, slamming the US and Israel for exploiting the country’s instability and emphasizing the importance of preserving Syria’s sovereignty.
In a statement on Thursday, the IRGC denounced recent Israeli attacks on Syria’s infrastructure and vital facilities.
The IRGC condemned Israel and the United for taking advantage of Syria’s current instability through aggression and occupation.
The statement emphasized the necessity of safeguarding Syria’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
It described the recent developments as “lessons to strengthen the axis of resistance” and taking steps toward expelling US forces from the region.
The IRGC linked these efforts to achieving the Islamic world’s goal of “liberating Al-Quds” and removing “the cancerous tumor of Zionism.”
The statement reads: “Defending the oppressed, liberating Al-Quds, and supporting the Palestinian people, as well as other nations under the domination of global arrogance and international Zionism, is a Qur’anic mission and a lofty ideal of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. This mission, guided by the leaders of the Islamic Revolution, has been pursued with the heroic sacrifices and historic contributions of the faithful and determined children of this land. On this sacred path of jihad and resistance, numerous martyrs have been offered to Islam, led by the inspiring and resolute name of the ‘Martyr of Al-Quds,’ General Qassem Soleimani, and other defenders of the holy shrines.”
The IRGC also framed the current global situation as a pivotal moment.
“The world is on the brink of a significant historical transformation toward a new global power structure, with Islam, led by the Islamic Republic of Iran, as one of its key pillars,” the statement said.
“This undeniable reality has pushed the enemies of Islam and Muslims to mobilize all their resources, including hybrid warfare and media empires, to prevent its realization,” it concluded.
