ISIL Suffers Heavy Casualties in Syrian Airstrikes in Raqqa
The Syrian warplanes, in fresh series of heavy bombardments on Sunday, targeted the ISIL defense lines and bases in different parts of Raqqa province, killing a number of militants and pinning the rest of them down behind their positions.
The Syrian Army aircraft bombed the ISIL gatherings and concentration centers in al-Mansoureh, the town of al-Tabaqa and al-Tabaqa airbase, which not only left at least 30 terrorists dead but destroyed their strongholds.
In relevant developments in the province on Saturday, the Syrian Army troops and the country’s Air Force pounded ISIL’s positions and military equipment in Western Raqqa.
The Syrian fighter jets targeted the ISIL strongholds at al-Tabaqa airbase, which ended in the destruction of the Takfiri terrorists’ weapons and armored vehicles.
In the meantime, the Syrian army troops, backed up by the Syrian warplanes, continued to hunt the ISIL terrorists in Western Raqqa.
The Syrian arm aircraft also bombed the ISIL centers in the Northern side of Zakiyeh crossroad and Southern side of al-Tabaqa.
The Syrian jets also targeted the ISIL bases in al-Khows tower in the town of al-Tabaqa.
