ISIS infighting erupts in Mosul, several terrorists killed
Ten ISIS fighters have been killed or wounded when an internal feud broke out amongst the terrorists in eastern Mosul, a source told Al-Sumaria News on Saturday.
“Dozens of ISIS members crossed the Tigris River toward the western side of Mosul, to escape from the government forces,” the source said.
The Tigris river divides Mosul in two, with the eastern side of the river almost entirely liberated by Iraqi forces.
“The leaders of ISIS in the western bank of the Tigris River accused the fleeing members of being cowards, while the fleeing members accused the leaders of treason,” the source continued. “The mutual accusations lead to clashes that lasted for half an hour, leaving ten casualties of the group,” the source added
