Israeli Forces Intensify Aggression in Southern Syria, Forcing Residents to Flee

Israeli occupation forces have escalated their violations in southern Syria, expanding their presence in Quneitra province and forcing civilians to leave their homes under threat.
According to local sources, Israeli troops illegally entered and stationed themselves early Friday in the Tel al-Masahara area of Quneitra province.
The occupying forces opened fire on the village of al-Masahara, terrorizing residents and ordering them to evacuate. Tel al-Masahara lies 11 kilometers inside Syrian territory, deep beyond the occupied Golan border.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that Israeli forces, accompanied by tanks and bulldozers, advanced into military camps and villages, including Rasm al-Khawalid, Umm Batinah, and Eastern al-Samdaniyah, in yet another blatant act of aggression against Syria’s sovereignty.
A day earlier, Israeli troops, backed by heavy military equipment, had stormed the village of al-Bakkar in western Daraa, according to the Observatory.
Additionally, Israeli forces illegally infiltrated Ain al-Bayda, near Jubata al-Khashab and Tel al-Ahmar, north of Khan Arnaba. These incursions were paired with Israeli airstrikes, targeting areas in Rif Dimashq and Daraa, further intensifying hostilities.
Local sources reported that Israeli fighter jets deliberately flew in low altitude over Daraa province, breaking the sound barrier to cause panic among civilians. While no airstrikes were recorded in the area, the psychological impact of such maneuvers was evident.
Amid the ongoing Israeli aggression, protests erupted across southern Syria, with demonstrators condemning repeated violations by the Zionist regime and rejecting recent statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which were perceived as a direct provocation.
