Israeli Forces Ramp Up Aggression in West Bank Amid Ongoing Gaza Onslaught

Palestinian media outlets have reported that Israeli occupation forces launched a series of raids in various cities and camps in the West Bank on Saturday, sparking violent confrontations with Palestinian youth. The raids led to the hospitalization of a young man who was reportedly assaulted by Israeli forces in the town of Rujeib.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, the Israeli forces targeted not only residential areas but also the homes of doctors and employees in their incursion into eastern Nablus. Confrontations were also reported in the towns of Qasra and Beita, with two young men being arrested at a military checkpoint near the village of Qusin.

In the northern West Bank town of Jenin, Israeli forces entered the town of Barta’a following their withdrawal from a raid in Ya’bad, after confrontations with resistance fighters. Additionally, clashes erupted between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in the city of Qalqilya in the central West Bank.

The raids come amid the ongoing onslaught of Gaza, with Israeli forces intensifying their aggression in the region. The escalating violence has raised concerns about the humanitarian situation in the occupied territories and the impact on civilians.
