Large crowds of Yemenis amass in support for Gaza and Lebanon

On Friday afternoon, tens of thousands of Yemeni citizens gathered in multiple cities, notably in the capital, Sana’a, to express solidarity with the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. These regions are currently enduring a severe Israeli military campaign, reportedly backed by the United States. The demonstrators voiced their support for the affected populations amidst the ongoing conflict.

On Friday afternoon, tens of thousands of Yemeni citizens gathered in various cities, notably Sana’a, to express solidarity with the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. These regions are enduring the impact of a severe Israeli military campaign, which is reportedly receiving comprehensive backing from the United States.

Post-Friday prayer demonstrations were mobilized across numerous cities, namely Sana’a, Saada, Hajjah, al-Jawf, Dhamar, al-Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, al-Bayda, ad-Dali, Lahj, Hodeida, and Taiz. These gatherings were organized to express collective sentiments among the populace.

Participants displayed the national flags of Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon, while holding images of leaders from Hamas and Hezbollah. They also engaged in chanting slogans that expressed solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon.

In a joint statement, the organizers of the protests emphasized Yemen’s preparedness to counter any potential Zio-American escalation, notwithstanding the sacrifices and challenges that may arise.

The announcement commended the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups for causing significant casualties to their adversary.
