Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Ayatollah Khamenei extends condolences following the martyrdom of two high-ranking judges in Tehran

Imam Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed, has conveyed his condolences following the assassination of two prominent Iranian judges in a terrorist attack in Tehran.

In a tragic incident on Saturday, leading figures in the judiciary—Ali Razini, presiding judge of Branch 39 of the Supreme Court, and Mohammad Moqiseh, head of Branch 53—were killed in a terrorist attack at the Supreme Court premises located in the heart of Tehran.

The judiciary presided over cases addressing threats to national security, including issues of espionage and terrorism.

On Saturday, the Leader expressed heartfelt condolences to the families mourning the loss of the two judges, acknowledging their passing with deep sympathy.

The Leader disclosed that Razini had previously been the target of an assassination attempt by hostile individuals and had endured significant hardships as a veteran. Furthermore, he noted that two of Razini’s brothers had also lost their lives, becoming martyrs.

Ayatollah Khamenei has called upon God Almighty to bestow mercy and solace upon the families enduring patience.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has extended his condolences following the tragic martyrdom of two judges in what he described as a “cowardly” and “inhumane” terrorist attack. He stressed the urgent need for security and law enforcement agencies to swiftly identify and bring the perpetrators of this crime to justice.
