Lebanese security forces crackdown on ISIS sleeper cell in Tripoli
The Lebanese Internal Security Forces raided a terrorist sleeper cell that belonged to the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) in the ‘Akkar District of Tripoli on Thursday morning.
According to a Lebanese Army communique, their forces arrested a key ISIS terrorist and several of his associates in the village of Fanaydak.
The ISIS terrorists name has not been revealed yet due to security concerns; however, this suspect is one of many militants believed to be operating in rural Tripoli.
