Massive 5th Corps convoy heads to northern Hama for new military operation
A massive convoy of soldiers and armored vehicles from the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) 5th Corps made their way to the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate on Friday.
According to a military report, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Corps were redeployed to the government strongholds of Suqaylabiyeh and Mhardeh in the northern countryside of Hama.
The report said that the Syrian Army’s 5th Corps will be deployed to the front-lines near Mhardeh and Suqaylabiyeh, where they will prepare to kickoff a new military operation against the opposition forces in the area.
The 5th Corps have participated in several Syrian Arab Army offensives in the past, including the Al-Safa, Palmyra, and Deir Ezzor battles.
