Military advisor of IRGC martyred in an attack by Takfiri militants in Syria
An advisor to Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) was killed in Syria following a significant offensive by foreign-backed Takfiri extremists and anti-Damascus forces on Syrian military positions in the northwestern province of Aleppo.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Thursday that Brigadier General Kioumars Pour Hashemi, also referred to as Haj Hashem, was killed in attacks late Wednesday night. The attacks, attributed to Zionist Takfiri militants, occurred near Aleppo and resulted in the death of the prominent military advisor and defender of the Sayyida Zaynab Shrine in Syria.
