Military forces attack terrorist hideouts across Syria
Syria’s army units have carried out intensive operations against terrorist staging centers and hideousts in several areas around the country, inflicting heavy losses upon the armed insugents. Syrian army forces succeeded in haunting and conquering foreign-backed insurgents in Aleppo, Lattakia and Hasaka regions.
The Syrian army restored security and stability to a mountainous region in Lattakia countryside, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.
In Aleppo, the Syrian army also foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempt towards safe areas in al-Ashrafiyeh after it had regained control over the towns of Moqbleh, Rahmaneya and Kfar Sagheer in the northwestern province.
The Syrian military also killed dozens of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), regaining control over five towns in Qamishli countryside in northeastern governorate of Hasaka.
The Syrian army further continued its operations in Damascus, Daraa and Idleb, killing scores of militants.
The army soldiers destroyed a terrorists’ den in Mayda’a farms in the eastern Gouta, killing many terrorists, including Nawaf Salman Mohammad from Saudi Arabia, SANA reported on Monday.
Other army units eliminated a large number of terrorists in al-Nashabiyeh farms.
Syria has been gripped by a foreign-sponsored insurgency war since March 2011. According to reports, Western powers and their regional allies – especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey – are supporting the militants operating inside the country.
