Military source: Zionist enemy violates disengagement agreement in occupied Golan
A military source said the Zionist enemy violated Wednesday morning Disengagement Agreement in the occupied Syrian Golan by firing missiles and tank shells and opening machinegun fire, injuring a number of Internal Security Forces personnel and civilians.
The source clarified the Zionist enemy launched at 6 AM four missiles from al-Sateh hill and al-Khwein in Golan toward the school and mosque of al-Hamidiyeh area and fired at 6:30 AM four tank shells towards al-Hurriyeh site in addition to opening fire by medium-sized machineguns toward al-Hamidiyeh site at 7:10 AM.
Seven members of the Internal Security Forces and four civilians were injured in Israeli aggression, according to the source.
“This aggression stresses once again reality of the Zionist entity’s direct involvement in backing and supporting terrorist groups and proves beyond any doubt the extent of existing coordination between Zionist enemy and these groups, especially at this time when terrorist groups are receiving severe strikes at the hands of heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, in a desperate bid to mitigate pressure on them” the source said.
It added while General Command of the Army and Armed Forces “affirms that such acts of aggression won’t discourage it from continuing its missions of chasing and eliminating armed terrorist groups, it warns of the consequences of getting involved in such ventures and of testing our combat capabilities”
