Minister describes Syrian crisis battle of world intelligence bodies
Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alawi underlined that the Syrian crisis is actually a battle among the world’s intelligence services.’Today, the war of armies has come to an end and it has been replaced by the war of the intelligence and security services,’ Alawi said, addressing a conference in the central Iranian city of Qom on Friday.
He noted that the exchange of valuable intelligence has become a lucrative business, and said, ‘The security services gather those information which are not needed by them but by intelligence agencies of other countries and sell them which makes them to pocket dollars from the business.’ The intelligence minister reiterated that a similar organization like NATO is gradually being formed.
