More families return home in liberated East Ghouta towns
Hundreds of civilians who currently live in a temporary shelter center prepare to return to their homes in liberated towns and villages of East Ghouta region.
The return of families comes as the Syrian Army concluded an all-out mop-up operation, coupled with tremendous efforts by the government to rehabilitate the basic infrastructures.
Hundreds of thousands of civilians coming out from East Ghouta region were hosted at several state-run shelters as the Syrian Army launched a major offensive to reclaim the biggest rebel-controlled pocket outside the capital.
On April 14, the Syrian Army announced the entire East Ghouta region under its control after militants accepted an evacuation deal.
