Palestinian Civil Defense announced that at least 121 people, most of them women and children, have been martyred since the beginning of the Israeli assault on the eastern areas of Khan Younis.

In a statement, the Civil Defense announced it was “receiving numerous appeals from citizens trapped in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, demanding to be evacuated, including wounded and sick individuals.”

Videos and photos circulated on social media showed heart-wrenching scenes and captures of Palestinians fleeing Khan Younis’ eastern areas, with smoke being seen rising due to Israeli attacks in the nearby areas.

In a statement, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that “there is nowhere safe to go in Gaza, evacuation orders have hit a huge part of the Strip leaving less and less places to go for the displaced.”

“People in Gaza are exhausted from the continuous displacement and unlivable conditions as they are trapped in increasingly small and overcrowded areas,” the UNRWA added.

New evacuation orders today in Khan Younis mean more suffering and displacement. Families had to pack what is left of their belongings and run, amid bombardment, and with nowhere safe to go.

For its part, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said that Khan Younis “witnesses one of its bloodiest days yet as Israel’s crime of genocide continues to unfold.”

“Every time there is talk of returning to the negotiating table to reach a truce and an exchange agreement, the Israeli army purposefully increases the number of massacres and mass killings of Palestinian civilians,” the rights monitor noted, warning that this “raises concerns that Israel is engaging in political blackmail.”

Meanwhile, Israeli strikes were reported in Nusseirat, in central Gaza Strip

On the other hand, Health Ministry in Gaza announced that the death toll of the Israeli aggression in the besieged strip rose to 39,145, while the number of injured people reached 90,257 since the war started on October 7.

On the other hand, the Palestinian resistance continued confronting the aggression, inflicting more losses upon the enemy troops.

In this context, Al-Qassam Brigades announced it fighters targeted a D9 bulldozer with Al-Yasssin shell and destroyed a Merkava tank with Shuwaz explosive device in Khan Younis, south of Gaza.

Al-Quds Brigades released a video which shows its fighters bombarding Zionist enemy forces on the supply line at the “Netzarim” axis with mortar shells and rockets.
