Nasrallah: Hizbollah will face & defeat terrorists in Qalamoun Barrens
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah asserted that the party will move to face the terrorist threat in Qalamoun barrens regardless of the Lebanese consensus which has never been available during the resistance’s battles against the enemy.
Nasrallah: Hizbollah will face & defeat terrorists in Qalamoun Barrens
‘If we had waited for the national consensus to face the terrorists, the takfiri groups would have reached many of the Lebanese areas,’ his eminence said.
In a televised speech broadcast on Tuesday live on Al-Manar TV channel, Sayyed Nasrallah said the terrorist threat is represented by occupying Lebanese territories in Arsal, attacking the Lebanese Army, assaulting the Lebanese civilians, kidnapping the Lebanese soldiers as well as threatening their parents to kill them, and bombarding the whole area in Bekaa.
Sayyed Nasrallah added that the state is clearly unable to assume its responsibilities and that Hezbollah is ready to support it if it does.
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that the battle, as well as all its details, will be announced when it starts and that Hezbollah will not issue any statement in this regard.
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that Hezbollah will defeat the terrorist groups in the upcoming battle though he has never revealed its details, noting that the battlefield developments in the other Syrian provinces do not affect Qalamoun’s confrontation.
Sayyed Nasrallah to the Syrians: We stand by you, and we will be where we must be
On the Syrian developments, Sayyed Nasrallah said that a psychological warfare has recently been launched, spreading the rumors which aim at weakening the determination, will and steadfastness of the Syrians and at attaining what a 4-year global war on Syria has failed to reach.
‘We must not care for those rumors which have been spread since the beginning of the Syrian crisis.’
Refuting the rumors, Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that Iran will never abandon its allies, including Syria, despite the nuclear talks.
His eminence called on examining what happened in Jisr al-Shoghour, which was controlled by the terrorist groups few days ago, from a militarily point of view, considering that losing a battle does not mean losing the whole war.
‘The Syrian state and army are strong and they can change the battlefield conditions,’ Sayyed Nasrallah said, ‘The Syrians must be sure that Hezbollah will always support them and that he will be where he must be to defend Syria and all the Ummah.
‘We are witnessing a clear Saudi failure and a vivid Yemeni Victory’
Hezbollah Secretary General considered that Saudi is misleading the public opinion pertaining the developments in Yemen.
After 26 days of the Saudi-led aggression on Yemen, the coalition announced the end of the ‘Decisive Storm’ on the basis that it achieved all its goals and launched the ‘Restoring Hope’ operation, continuing its war on the Arab World poorest country.
The Saudi claim that the ‘Decisive Storm’ achieved its goals is misleading as none of the campaign’s aims was reached, according to Sayyed Nasrallah.
‘The media abilities of the aggressors are stronger than those of the assaulted, which promotes the Saudi claim that the military operation reached its goals.’
In this context, Sayyed Nasrallah asked a number of question to refute the Saudi claim:
-Could Saudi restore Abedrabbu Mansour Hadi’s ruling?
-Could it block the battlefield advance of the Yemeni army and the popular committees?
-Could it confiscate Ansarullah weapons?
-Could it deactivate the alleged Iranian impose their dominance on Yemen?
His eminence also highlighted that we are witnessing a clear Saudi failure and a vivid Yemeni victory achieved by the solidarity and steadfastness of the Yemenis who embrace the Army and the popular committees.
The Saudi coalition is complicating the political solution in Yemen in contrast with the announced goals of the ‘Decisive storm’, Sayyed Nasrallah said.
‘The Saudis set major goals which need a long war to be attained and started seeking to hire troops,’ Sayed Nasrallah noted, ‘Then, they set reachable goals for the ‘Restoring Hope’ operation.’
‘The Saudis also failed because they did not dare launch a ground war.’
‘The main goal of the US-Saudi aggression is to control and dominate Yemen,’ his eminence said.
Commenting on the humanitarian situation in Yemen, Sayyed Nasrallah said that the international organizations report disastrous conditions in the various Yemeni provinces, stressing that the world must assume its responsibilities to defend the Yemenis and to provide them with all their needs, including food stuffs and medical materials.
Moreover, Sayyed Nasrallah considered that the Yemenis reject to obey the foreign dominance and insist on attaining victory, underscoring that Saudi and its allies will not be able to pressure the resistance fighters by killing their families and destroying their houses.
‘The aggression will turn those who are behind it to be uglier and will unite all the Yemenis in their war for the sake of their country’s freedom and independence.’
Sayyed Nasrallah called on the international community to rescue the Yemeni people through breaching the blockade at any price and in any form.
US plot in Iraq
Hezbollah Secretary General said that the US plot aims at fragmenting the regional countries on sectarian and racist bases, adding that this scheme appeared in the form of a Congress Act to arm the Kurds and the Sunnis in Iraq.
‘US is not excused for arming the different Iraqi factions, away from the state.’
Sayyed Nasrallah added that there is a clear US attempt to incapacitate the Iraqi government and army in face of ISIL.
On the US attempt to strike the Iraqi government, Sayyed Nasrallah said that ‘we must confront and nip the US scheme whose repercussions cover all the regional countries, including mainly the Saudi Arabia.’
The US fragmentation plot will involve the whole region in civil wars which may last for hundreds of years, Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah pointed out that the countries which summoned the takfiris to topple certain regimes in the region realized their danger and found out that the ‘magic will turn against the magician’.
‘We (Hezbollah) sacrifice our blood for people to survive in dignity, pride and peace. And there is no victory except from Allah,’ Sayyed Nasrallah concluded.
