National Reconciliation Minister: Reconciliation is only way to solve crisis

Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Dr. Ali Haidar said Friday that the national reconciliation is the only way to overcome the crisis.

Attending the ceremony in which 54 persons who turned themselves in to authorities in Homs Old city neighborhoods had their files settled, Minister Haidar said that “We will complete national reconciliation to the end”, adding that daily reconciliation process are being accomplished, stressing that more than 800 persons have settled their cases up till now.

For his part, Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi said that those who turned themselves in will live a normal life without complications and will take part in the reconstruction efforts.

He expressed gratitude to the authorities for their efforts in this regard.
