New road east of Mosul liberated from ISIS
The Federal Police Command announced that Gogjali-Intsar road, east of Mosul, was liberated on Sunday by its forces.
“Troops of the Federal Police liberated the road of Gogjali-Intsar and raised the Iraqi flag on it,” Federal Police Chief, Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat said.
“Security forces also killed the terrorist known as Ahmed Manati,” he continued to say in the statement.
Iraqi forces since October 17 have been engaged in an operation to expel ISIS from its large major stronghold in Iraq.
