OPCW: Syria is near to hand over its total chemical weapons

Organisation for the prohibition of chemical weapons (OPCW) announced Thursday Syria is near to hand over its total chemical weapons as it sent 90 % of them out of its territories until now.
“The process includes today the overall chemical weapons which has been evacuated or destroyed with 92.5%,” A statement by OPCW said, adding “a new shipment left Syria from Lattakia port today.”
Sigrid Kaag, Coordinator of OPCW said in a statement “I appreciate progress which has been gained during the last 3 weeks and I strongly encourage the Syrian authorities to end the delivering processes.”
OPCW announced Tuesday that a new shipment was delivered in Lattakia port which increases to 86.5% what has been handed over until now of the chemical weapons.
