The funeral committee announced on Friday that the day marking the resting of Hezbollah leaders, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safeiddine, will remain etched in the memory of freedom advocates worldwide.

During a press conference, Committee Head Hussein Fadlallah discussed the concluding arrangements for the funeral scheduled to take place on Sunday at Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium.

Fadlallah announced that the upcoming funeral will be a monumental event destined to leave a lasting impression worldwide. Speaking at the headquarters of the Risalat Lebanese Association of Arts in Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh, he stated that preparations have reached peak readiness. The event is set to welcome supporters of revolution, freedom, and resistance, and aims to honor the significant sacrifices made by the two Hezbollah secretaries-general with a suitably organized gathering.

The official announced that Sunday, February 23rd, will be a memorable day for the free individuals journeying to Beirut from across the globe.

He emphasized the widespread interest in the funeral, stating, “The public are the most significant and esteemed guests for the Secretary General’s day of farewell,” anticipating that the streets will see a large turnout of attendees.

Fadlallah announced that screens will be strategically placed along all routes of the funeral procession, allowing attendees who cannot make it to the main square to watch the ceremony.

A government representative announced the deployment of medical and emergency resources to support health services during the upcoming funeral. This will include the mobilization of 100 doctors, 1,400 nurses, and the reinforcement of 54 emergency rooms. Additionally, 32 fire engines will be stationed in key locations to ensure swift response capabilities.

In a symbolic gesture, Palestinian activists have transported soil from the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque to be intermingled with the earth at the grave of Sayyed Nasrallah, according to statements made by Fadlallah. This act is seen as a profound expression of solidarity and unity between the Palestinian and Lebanese causes.
