Osama Hamdan: No negotiations under fire
There will be no negotiations or prisoner exchange deal before the Israeli assault comes to an end, Hamas official Osama Hamdan said.
Speaking to reporters in Beirut, Hamdan also said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “responsible” for the lives of Israeli captives in Gaza, adding that his true objective is to “eliminate the Palestinian people”.
“We hold Netanyahu fully responsible for the lives of the Israeli hostages and for obstructing the completion of the exchange deal,” he added.
He further said that Netanyahu has not been able to extract an image of a political or military victory for 60 days.
On the other hand, the Hamas official said that “anyone who obstructs the arrival of aid to Gaza is an accomplice in crime.”
“We call on UNRWA and the World Health Organization to shoulder their responsibilities to continue providing assistance”.
Hamdan concluded by slamming the statement issued by the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, regarding Al-Aqsa Flood operation, while ignoring the massacres taking place against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
