Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on international community to protect civilians in Gaza Strip
Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli occupation is insists to destroy the remaining health infrastructure in Gaza Strip and put it completely out of service, saying that the priority in international efforts must focus on protecting civilians and deliver aid in a sustainable manner, which requires an immediate ceasefire.
The occupation forces stormed al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, warning of the danger this would pose to the lives of medical staff, the sick, the wounded, and the displaced people present in the complex and its surroundings, including the displaced people in the besieged shelter schools, as well as to the risks that threaten the lives of those detained by the occupation, Wafa News Agency reported the Foreign Ministry as saying in stamen on Monday.
The Ministry noted that the Palestinians are not only victims of the occupation, but also victims of the international failure to impose any measure that would protect them and secure their basic needs, despite the resolutions of the Security Council and the UN General Assembly and the precautionary order of the International Court of Justice.
