Palestinians Promise to Continue Retaliation Until Zionist Regime Ceases Hostile Actions
The Islamic Jihad has declared that they will continue to retaliate against the occupied territories until the Israeli regime ceases their lethal attacks on the Gaza Strip, which is the home of the Palestinian resistance group.
Since Tuesday, the regime has assassinated dozens of Palestinians, including five commanders of the movement, in a major escalation of airstrikes against Gaza. In response, the al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, has fired hundreds of rockets towards the occupied territories, resulting in the death of one Israeli and injury of several others.
On Thursday, Anwar Abu Taha, a spokesperson for Islamic Jihad, declared that the group’s weapons, resistance, and missile strikes will continue until the aggression against them ceases, particularly the policy of assassinating their leaders and citizens.
Taha declared that the punishing reprisal was intended to make a powerful statement to the Israeli adversary that the Brigades and the opposition have a multitude of unexpected developments in the works, which could make the government cease its relentless harshness.
The Palestinian official noted that Netanyahu is misguided in believing that the Islamic Jihad will be weakened and broken due to the killing of its military leaders; in fact, they are only getting stronger and more determined to pursue the path of jihad and resistance.
Do not try us, for we have many resources and the entirety of Tel Aviv’s suburbs are within the range of our missiles.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) General Secretariat vehemently denounced the sustained Israeli aggression, deeming it a despicable crime and a blatant breach of global law and international humanitarian law.
The statement held the occupying regime accountable for the repercussions of their aggression and war crimes, and stated that the increasing Israeli violence posed a risk to the security, peace, and stability of the whole region.
The group urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) to expedite the processes designed to bring to justice those responsible for war crimes.
