President al-Assad discusses with Russian President’s special envoy file of Syrian refugees, cross-border aid

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad discussed on Tuesday with the Russian President’s special envoy Alexander Lavrentiev and an accompanying delegation file of the return of Syrian refugees in addition to proposals and ideas being discussed on the Arab and international level to resolve this file.

The two sides discussed the Turkish stubbornness regarding withdrawal from the Syrian territories, and the cross-border humanitarian aid for Syrian civilians who live in the terrorist organizations- controlled regions, in line with the international humanitarian law and rules of sovereignty.
