President al-Assad issues decrees on termination of previous appointments for new members of Central Leadership

Damascus-SANA- In preparation for taking up their new duties, President Bashar al-Assad issued on Tuesday two decrees ending the prior designation of new members of the Central Leadership.

The two decrees stipulate termination of the appointment of Fadel Najjar as governor of Deir Ezzor, Safwan Suleiman Abu Sa’ada as governor of Damascus Countryside, and Mahmoud Zanbou’a as governor of Hama, in addition to ending the extension of the appointment of Taha Hammadi al-Khalifa as rector of al-Furat University.
