President al-Assad receives Araqchi: Resistance against all forms of occupation, aggression is legitimate right

Damascus,SANA,President Bashar al-Assad stressed during his meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and an accompanying delegation the strategic relationship between Syria and Iran and the importance of that relationship in confronting the challenges and dangers that pose threat to the region and its peoples, foremost of which is the continued Israeli occupation of Arab lands and its daily perpetration of crimes of killing and destruction against civilians in Lebanon, Palestine and Syria.

President al-Assad stressed that resistance against all forms of occupation, aggression and mass killing is a legitimate right, and it is strong in light of the popular support and belief in it, considering that the Iranian response to the violations and repeated attacks by the Israeli entity on peoples of the region and the sovereignty of its countries was a strong response, and gave a lesson to this Zionist entity that the axis of resistance is capable of deterring the enemy and thwarting its plans, and that it will remain strong and steadfast thanks to the will and solidarity of its peoples.

His Excellency added that the only solution to the Israeli entity is to stop the crimes of killing and shedding the blood of innocents and to restore legitimate rights to their owners.

In this context, President al-Assad discussed with Minister Araqchi ways to stop the Israeli aggression on brotherly Lebanon, and the importance of providing support and assistance to the Lebanese brothers in light of the large displacement caused by the Israeli aggression.

Minister Araqchi, for his part, stressed confidence in the strength of the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine to stand in the face of the Israeli machine of destruction and killing, stressing the need to coordinate with all countries supporting efforts to stop this aggression.
