President al-Assad: Zionist entity’s bombardment on civilians in Gaza is an indication to its failure to achieve its military targets

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad said that the Zionist entity’s bombardment on civilians in Gaza in such unprecedented bloody and brutal way is an indication to its failure to achieve its military targets.

The president received Monday Iranian Foreign Minister, Hussein Amir Abdollahian and an accompanying delegation, saying that the Zionist entity seeks and try to defeat society and people in Gaza Strip in order to defeat the Palestinian resistance, but this will not happen.

President al-Assad discussed with Abdollahian means of supporting the Palestinian people in light of the big changes in the international stances towards what is going on in Gaza.

Discussions also dealt with bilateral relations and the continued coordination between Syria and Iran over different issues.

Abdollahian, for his part, affirmed that the interior front in the Zionist entity witnesses worst conditions due to the Palestinian resistance steadfastness.
