Red Crescent: Zionist army kidnaped staff, patients and claimed them as terrorists
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has dismissed the Israel army’s claim that its forces arrested what it labeled as 20 terrorists at Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a statement on Thursday, PRCS affirmed that the Israeli army kidnaped nine of its medical and administrative workers and nine patients alongside some caregivers, pointing out that its ambulance crews had been unable to evacuate those patients, who were detained today, to another place on February 5 due to their difficult health conditions.
PRCS condemned such claims as “slanders aimed at justifying the Israeli army’s attacks on hospitals and medical crews in Gaza.”
PRCS affirmed that its medical cadres, including workers and volunteers, strictly adhere to the provision of the international humanitarian law related to medical missions and dedicate themselves exclusively to humanitarian work.
