Revolutionary diplomat Amir-Abdollahian played valuable role in advancing resistance front goals: Iran’s top judge
The Iranian judiciary chief has praised Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who lost his life in a helicopter crash alongside President Ebrahim Raeisi, as a revolutionary diplomat who played a valuable role in promoting the resistance front.
Amir-Abdollahian was a diplomat and a revolutionary figure that made endeavor for the sake of God and “played a valuable role in advancing the affairs and sacred goals of the resistance front,” Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei said on Tuesday as he visited the top diplomat’s home.
He also noted that Amir-Abdollahian dealt with issues in the field of diplomacy and foreign policy in a “prudent and wise” manner and not using a one-dimensional approach.

Raeisi, Amir-Abdollahian and six others died on Sunday, when their helicopter crashed in foggy weather in the mountains near the northwestern border with Azerbaijan. The charred wreckage of the aircraft was found early on Monday after an overnight search.
Mohseni-Ejei said the martyrs of the tragic incident did their best to improve the situation of the country and the people and thus they were rewarded with martyrdom.
