Sayyed al Houthi denounces Takfiri groups operating in Syria as instruments of external forces
The head of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has issued a strong denunciation of the recent lethal violence occurring in Syria's western coastal area. He described the events as a grave warning for Arab and Muslim nations and emphasized the imminent danger this situation poses to those responsible for these acts and their supporters.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi delivered his remarks during a televised address from Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, late Sunday evening, coinciding with the ninth night of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
He cautioned that the ramifications of the heinous acts would be substantial for both the Takfiri elements and their backers, who believe they are safeguarded by the support of the United States and select European nations.
The leader of Ansarullah has condemned the actions of Takfiri groups in Syria as “extremely horrifying” and called for universal denunciation of these acts. He urged all individuals with a moral compass to actively work towards halting these criminal activities.
Houthi officials have underscored that extremist militants are committing acts of genocide against unarmed Syrian civilians. They assert that widely circulated videos on social media reveal the brutality and criminal behavior of these groups.
“According to statements made by the speaker, extremist groups in Syria are advancing the agendas of Israeli and American adversaries by disrupting the nation’s social cohesion. This development occurs amidst efforts by Americans and Zionists to position themselves as the defenders and protectors of the Syrian populace.”
The leader of Ansarullah highlighted that Israel has announced its intention to protect the Druze community in Syria’s southern province of Sweida. He noted that Takfiri groups are wary of causing harm to the community and reportedly treat them with respect.
Houthi remarked that the United States positions itself as a defender of the Kurdish population in northern Syria, providing them with arms and recruitment support. However, he added that other segments of Syrian society face targeting, as they lack the protection offered by the US to the Kurds and do not benefit from the patronage that Israel extends to the Druze minority.
He asserted that Syrians are being killed in cold blood, with little to no opposition or criticism from the Arab and Muslim communities.
Houthi has characterized the actions of Takfiri groups in Syria as part of an “American-Zionist scheme,” claiming that these groups were created, supported, and developed to fulfill that role.
The leader of Ansarullah has asserted that Takfiri groups are advancing Zionist goals by damaging the reputation of Islam.
In a statement, Houthi criticized the militants, suggesting that if they were true warriors engaged in an authentic jihad, they would confront Israeli forces. He described them as lacking piety and labeled them as criminals allied with falsehoods.
