Sayyed Nasrallah: Zionist Regime Exceeds Boundaries in Aggressive Actions Toward Southern Beirut

The secretary general of Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement stated that Israel has surpassed “all redlines” in its aggression towards southern Beirut. He mentioned that the group will determine additional retaliatory actions against the regime in the future.

In a live televised address on Sunday, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah commented following the resistance movement’s launch of hundreds of rockets and drones towards Israel. This action was a response to the killing of their senior commander, Fuad Shukr.

He mentioned that Hezbollah’s recent retaliatory strikes, referred to as the “Arbaeen Operation,” have specifically targeted Israeli military installations instead of civilian areas.

The leader of Hezbollah stated that the primary objectives were the intelligence and air defense bases that were attacked. He added that the resistance group has chosen to focus on the Glilot military intelligence base near Tel Aviv.

Nasrallah pointed out that Israel has been unsuccessful in targeting any of Hezbollah’s strategic or ballistic missiles. He emphasized that the occupying regime is attempting to conceal the damages it has suffered due to the resistance group’s counteractions.

He noted that the regime’s “pre-emptive” attacks did not affect Hezbollah’s response actions.

Nasrallah also mentioned that Hezbollah postponed its counterattack on Israel in hopes of facilitating the Gaza ceasefire negotiations, aiming to halt what they described as Israel’s genocidal campaign against the isolated enclave.

He asserted that Hezbollah avoided targeting civilians in their counterattacks against the Israeli government.

He stated that the regime’s “pre-emptive” strikes did not affect Hezbollah’s retaliatory actions.

In an “initial response” to Fuad Shukr’s assassination by Israel in Dahieh, a southern suburb of Beirut, Hezbollah launched numerous rockets and drones into the occupied territories early Sunday morning.

The Lebanese resistance organization reported launching over 320 rockets and several explosive drones aimed at 11 military bases in northern Israel. The attacks also triggered sirens in the coastal city of Acre, the occupied Golan Heights town of Katzrin, and various settlements throughout the Galilee region.

Hezbollah launched a significant missile assault on several locations in the northern occupied territories, targeting military barracks and Iron Dome installations of the occupying forces. Among the sites hit were the Meron Base, Naftali Ze’ev artillery position, Zaitoun Base, and Yardan Base in the Golan Heights.

In response to the retaliatory attacks, the Israeli government announced a 48-hour state of emergency, causing widespread panic throughout the occupied territories.
