Seyyed Nasrallah: Syria’s victory will impact Lebanon, region
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah spoke at a memorial ceremony for late cleric Moustafa Kassir who founded the al-Mahdi School in Lebanon, and was a prominent leader of Hezbollah’s social and educational institutions.
Head of the resistance said that even his party, which is Syrian President elect Bashar Assad’s closest ally was surprised at the turnout for the election, “Hezbollah’s chief called on all involved parties to go to dialogue since the war on Syria has failed.”
“International lawyer Franklin lamb who has observed the election process in Syria said that the masses heading to the polls have much to teach the world about the will of the people,” he underlined.
Nasrallah also stressed that the Lebanese should not wait for regional talks to elect their president and called for real internal efforts to elect a president.
Head of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has considered that the Syrian Presidential election a step forward for Syria especially on the political level and proves that only Syrians can lead Syria and only a political solution in plausible at this point.
