SouthFront: Little hope left for rebels in Aleppo amid Syrian Army advances
The situation in Aleppo remains increasingly dire for Islamist factions in the city’s besieged eastern districts after a series of Syrian Arab Army gains in northern Aleppo.
If anything, after the loss of the Handarat camp, the Al-Kindi hospital and several surrounding areas, rebel factions can merely hope to stall the SAA from its seeminglyinevitable recapture of Aleppo, a city otherwise ravished by war since 2012.
The latest military reports from Aleppo now even suggest the SAA to be attacking the Al-‘Oweija District, thus reaching rebel-held heartland.
