SouthFront: Unrest in Aleppo amid destruction of aid convoy
Much controversy has emerged on Monday about the destruction of about a dozen red crescent air trucksdestined for rebel-held districts in Aleppo city.
Subsequently, Russia denied carrying out airstrikes on the convoy, pointing the fingers at Islamist groups operational in the area; evidence such as lack of airstrike craters have led the Kremlin to allege rebel militants may have torched the vehicles in a false flag operation.
Meanwhile, with the Syrian ceasefire in tatters, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is once again in fierce battles with opposing Islamist factions as the latter has endured an astonishing 120 airstrikes in the past 24 hours.
