Sunni Cleric: Imam Sadeq, a model for all Muslims in unity area
One of the Member of the General Assembly of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Molavi Kheirollah Yaqoubie in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) beckoned to the martyrdom anniversary of the sixth infallible Imam Ja’afar Sadiq (PBUH) counting the Imam as one of the pioneers in the realm of unity noting, “the infallible Imam emphasized the avoidance of controversy, and the prime importance of respecting to interlocutors’ takes and thoughts.”
“Proposing completed issues in public and leading people to focus on very exclusive issues causes many problems in the society,” underscored the religious cleric.
The Member of the General Assembly of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought called for mounting meetings, conferences and seminary with religious thinkers and elites in attendance.
Shias and Sunnis enjoy quite a few commonalities, they have some differences considering, but these differences should not part them or plunge them into a plagued milieu in which they are standing at each other’s throats. Given that, Muslims should refrain from highlighting minute issues leading to dispersion.
With this connection, Islamic scholars, thinkers and clerics play decisive role in restraining Muslims’ unity from dispersion, They urged Muslims from all sects in their speech to preserve and promote unity.
