‘Sunni-Shia Unity’, message of ‘Imam Mehdi’ huge rally in Pakistan
The huge gathering was organized by Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslimeen(MWM), a Shia group in Pakistan, on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of martyrdom of Allama Arif Hussain Hussaini, one of the prominent Shia leaders of Pakistan.
Renowned scholars, religious leaders, political leaders and large number of men, women and children from Sunni and Shia communities of Pakistan participated in the rally.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, the leader of MWM said Imam Mehdi will definitely come to establish justice in this restless world. He added the success of Imam Mahdi is the belief of every Muslim.
He noted the purpose of this gathering is to keep the idea of martyrdom alive as per the teachings of Allama Arif Hussain. He added Allama Arif was killed under Zia Regime and afterwards Takfiri forces were strengthened in this country.
The chairman of the Sunni Ithehad Council, Shabzada Hamid Raza said that while keeping the mission of martyrdom leader, activities of MWM are highly appreciated. He further said Allama Arif was a credible name for the Shia-Sunni Unity whose mission is still going on today.
Allama Amin Shaheedi said Allama Arif Hussian message is proven, as the whole nation stands together today. “The teachings of martyred leader need to be implemented in our practical life,” he said.
Syed Masoom Naqvi, the central leader of the Jamait-e-ulema Pakistan (Niazi), said that martyrdom of Allama Hussaini was equally harmful for the Sunni-Shia community in the country.
Speakers on the occasion also urged the new government of Pakistan to take more steps for the betterment of the country and more security for the people including the Shia community.
