Supreme Leader: US and ‘israel’ of orchestrating events in Syria
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed, has characterized the events in Syria as a coordinated scheme orchestrated by American and Zionist forces, with the involvement of a neighboring nation as well.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei alleged on Wednesday that the United States and Israel orchestrated the events in Syria, claiming to possess evidence supporting these assertions. While addressing a gathering in Tehran, Khamenei pointed to what he described as a deliberate plan hatched in command centers of the two nations.
The Leader stated that while a neighboring country, likely Turkey, was involved, the main architects behind the situation are the United States and what was referred to as the Zionist regime.
Ayatollah Khamenei has dismissed rumors suggesting a weakening of the resistance front following recent advances by militants and Takfiri terrorists in the Syrian capital. He assured that the resistance axis is poised to strengthen in the face of these developments.
He stated that the nature of the resistance is inherently resilient, gaining strength in response to increased pressure and acts of aggression. According to him, as adversities mount, so too does the motivation of the resistance, leading to its broader proliferation. He confidently declared, under what he termed Divine Power, that the resistance movement would expand its influence across the entire region.
The Leader has refuted analyses suggesting that the purported weakening of the resistance front could potentially compromise Iran’s position.
An analyst appears to have underestimated the concept of resistance, suggesting that a weakening of resistance would correlate with a weakening of Islamic Iran. However, affirmations from Iranian sources strongly assert that, through divine will and strength, Iran remains formidable and is poised to become even more powerful.
Calls for Support in Lebanon amidst Preparations for Syria
In a recent disclosure, the Leader announced that senior officials from the armed forces and military organizations have formally requested permission to deploy to Lebanon. This plea comes in response to their distress over the current situation faced by Hezbollah amid ongoing Israeli military actions.
Ayatollah Khamenei appeared to draw a comparison with an army incapable of holding its ground and subsequently retreating, seemingly alluding to the Syrian army, which collapsed under pressure from advancing militant forces.
Ayatollah Khamenei announced that Iran had fully prepared to extend aid to Syria. However, obstacles were presented by the United States and Israel, who, in tandem, obstructed all aerial and terrestrial access to the Arab nation.
“We were prepared despite the challenging circumstances,” he stated. “They informed me that all necessary provisions for the Syrians had been arranged and were ready for deployment. However, access was obstructed; the airspace and land routes were both sealed off. The Zionist regime, in conjunction with the United States, had effectively closed Syria’s skies and land passages, making it impossible to proceed,” he explained.
The Leader stated that if Syrian forces had managed to resist the adversary, it would have been unable to impose aerial blockades or close land routes, thereby allowing external assistance to be provided.
‘Resistance Movement Poised for Expansion’
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that international powers, which he referred to as “the world arrogance,” are pleased with the ongoing developments in Syria. He suggested that these powers believe the potential collapse of the Syrian government—a known supporter of the resistance movement—would significantly weaken the capabilities of the resistance front.
The concept of resistance is not merely a tangible entity that can be easily broken or dismantled; rather, it embodies a deep-seated belief and conviction. Resistance represents an unwavering ideology and a resolute commitment, akin to an educational institution imparting a doctrine of faith. Under pressure, the collective conviction of a group does not diminish, but rather, it strengthens.
The leader articulated that the proliferation of malevolent forces serves as a catalyst for resistance fighters, thereby contributing to the growth and strengthening of the resistance front.
“Upon witnessing the atrocious acts committed by the adversary, any lingering doubts about the necessity of resistance will be dispelled. It is then that individuals will recognize the imperative to confront oppression, even at great personal risk. This is the essence of resistance.”
Ayatollah Khamenei addressed the situation involving Hezbollah and described the assassination of the group’s Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, by Israel as a significant setback for the Lebanese resistance.
“Hezbollah experienced the significant loss of a key figure, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. However, the organization intensified its attacks and strengthened its position more aggressively than ever. Recognizing this shift in power dynamics, the adversary agreed to a ceasefire,” he stated.
**”Militants and American Forces Face Expulsion from Syria: State Media”**
State media sources have reported escalating tensions in Syria, with claims that both militant groups and American military personnel are set to be removed from the region. The developments underscore a complex geopolitical landscape as various parties vie for influence and control within the war-torn nation.
In an address, Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the divisions among militant factions in Syria, noting that each group operates with its distinct agenda, aiming to secure control over specific territories.
The Leader asserted that, in due course, the fervent youth of Syria will expel foreign forces, including the Americans who are attempting to consolidate their presence in the region.
Reports indicate that the various groups involved in the current conflict each have distinct objectives. Among them, several factions aim to acquire territory either in the northern or southern regions of Syria. Meanwhile, the United States is reportedly focused on consolidating its strategic presence in the area.
He expressed confidence that, with divine intervention, their adversaries would not succeed, asserting that the occupied regions of Syria would be reclaimed by the dedicated Syrian youth. He urged belief in the inevitability of this outcome.
Ayatollah Khamenei declared that the U.S. will eventually lose its influence in the region, asserting that, by divine intervention and the efforts of the resistance front, the United States will be pushed out.
