Syria army inflicts great losses on zionist backed terrorits
The Syrian army has inflicted heavy losses on foreign-backed militants fighting Damascus in a number of areas across the country.
On Wednesday, Syrian forces killed a large number of militants as they carried out operations in cities of Homs, Aleppo, and Idlib.
Syrian army soldiers destroyed a telephone center in al-Qalamoun area’s Housh Arab, near the capital, Damascus. The militants reportedly used the building as a workshop to make explosive devices.
They also seized large amounts of weapons and ammunition, destroying trucks equipped with heavy machine guns.
Clashes between the two sides took place in the neighborhoods of Jouret al-Shayah, al-Hamidiyah, Bab Hood, and Wadi al-Sayeh.
They also stormed militant hideouts in the Ein Hussein, al-Amryeh, and al-Dar al-Kabira districts of the town of Talbiseh, located in the north of Homs.
This comes as the Syrian army has been making more gains in its battle in recent months, despite support the militants have been receiving from various countries.
A newly released video shows the militants have even received 20 US-made anti-missile tanks and have been trained on how to use them as well.
On April 15, the Syrian army carried out successful operations and managed to liberate the towns of Assal al-Ward, Housh Arab, and Jab’adin.
Last week, the strategic city of Rankus was also cleared of militants.
Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since March 2011. According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies — especially Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey — are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.
