Syria army targets terrorists in Idlib
The Syrian army has launched an offensive against foreign-backed terrorists holed up in the northwestern city of Idlib.
According to IRIB, army units on Sunday killed scores of terrorists in skirmishes near farms in the city while similar clashes have been reported to be underway between the government troops and Takfiri terrorists across Syria.
The development comes a day after the army troops regained the control of al-Zareh town in the central province of Homs on Saturday, when they pushed into the town following days of fierce clashes with militants in the region.
Many militants were killed during the army operation and their weapons were destroyed.
On March 6, army units destroyed two cars equipped with heavy machine guns and killed a group of militants in the town of Yabroud.
